just bought a 1998 convertible and would like to paint the raised letters "corvette" on my front brakes red. anyone tried this or suggest what type of paint/brush or paint stick to use ? i'm not quite sure how hot these will get also ? much abliged.
p.s. live in canada so probably don't have same stores as u. s.
Most of us do the opposite and paint the caliper , sanding the letters and leaving them polished metal... But you can just paint the letters if you prefer
Tremclad enamel in the color of your choice will do it.
CTC,Home Hardware, Home Depot, Rona etc

I would like to see what that looks like after you have painted the letters i have never seen anyone do that before.
Use a fast dry paint and a Q-tip. Roll it between your thum and finger to make the tip thight and hard. dip the Q-tip in the paint and Dab the Q-tip against the raised letters lightly over and over, let dry and do it over again until the paint covers the letters nice and dark.
