[Z06] 01 z06 a 02????

01 z06 a 02????
just bought an 01 z06 about 2 weeks ago and noticed that it had the 2002 405hp emblem on it. Did the car fax and had a buddy that is an chevrolet mechanic run all the data on the car and everything checks out. vin # is 35494 which is a later model z06 any chance this car could be a late 2001 early 2002 or did someone just change the emblem to look cool? car itself is in good shape and either way i wont be dissapointed. any clues???????

I believe HUD was an option in 01. If the vin# says it is an 01, it's an 01. If the vin# says it's an 02, you got lucky, it's an 02. Post the entire vin here and I'll see what it says..........Tom

HUD was not available on 2001 Z06's.
But it became standard for 2002+.

Then again, maybe my car would be cooler if I put the 2006 "505HP" badges on.
