I was looking to use some of the smoothie products under the hood but someone I spoke with said theirs cracked while installing the fuel rail covers. Anyone else have opinions or comments? Also, have seen in many catalogs where did you find your best deal? Thanks.
I called west coast and did a price comparision for 259.00 I was only able to see it listed at 269.00. The only problem now is that its being dropshipped from the vendor and west coast has no way of contacting the company "Smoothie" about where the rail covers are.... if anyone has a contact # for them "smoothie" please list it.
what are you guys looking for when you mean "smooth"??
smoothie covers usually refers to having the CORVETTE letters filled in, and also having the 5.7 removed. which makes the cover completely smooth.
if you guys are just looking for FRCs with the the plastic texture removed/sanded, painted, and cleared.... i can do those for $150 a set, plus core. an additional $25 for letters.

I have a lot of the Smoothie products on my car, including the fuel rail covers. Never had one problem with the paint cracking. They still look just as good as the day I got them.
