Default Missing Labels

I bought a used '03 Vert and knew when I bought it that it had been repainted. Today I noticed that the 2 labels (Tire-Loading Infromation label and the Certification label) on the rear edge of the driver's door were not put back on after the paint job. Is it possible to get these labels anywhere? Thanks.

I think you are going to find it nearly impossible to get replacement decals - they both have the VIN number printed on them (at least on my car they do). I've not heard of any vendor that sells reproduction labels or if they can even do that legally. Will be interesting to see if anyone has had any luck getting these two labels.

I'm sure a dealer can get them for you .

Edit: Maybe not with a VIN on it. But generic stickers.

Check with Gene@Karshop - you might get the stickers - but with wrong VIN#. Good luck.

Then get stopped by the cops and see how long it takes you to get your Vette out of impound!

edit: my suggestion would be to have someone into graphic design recreate them on the computer

have pondered doing this. take pic with good digital camera. photo chop the correct vin in the shaded area. use the 4inch wide clear package tape to secure to the car. i spent several days trying to figure this out with no luck getting replacements. i think this photo chop is the best way. just need the photo chopper now.
