Congrats!!! A happy spouse makes life great. 
I bought my vert right before (2 weeks) Xmas in 04. When my wife asked "Well, what do I get for Xmas?" I told her "the diamonds under the tree are yours and I'll make you a deal. You don't ask to drive the vette and I won't ask to wear your jewelry."
So far, I haven't asked to wear the jewelry.
Actually she enjoys riding in the vette and really doesn't want to drive it. She does look great in the passenger seat though.
