Check out the last issue of Corvette Magazine - If I recall right, they had an article on the price of C5s. They might have been a bit high, but at least it will give you an idea.
Look it up at www.nada.com. Halfway between the trade-in and retail values is the reasonable target. Mods and additional equipment not listed for valuation do NOT add to the actual value. Most owners of "garage queens" get quite shocked when they realize this...
it's worth what ever buyer thinks it's worth , so if your the buyer and you think it's worth what they are asking buy it . if your the seller it's always worth more to you .than someone else thinks it is. my .02 i know what i paid for my 99 vert and it was worth every penny , and it was like new 1 1/2 trs ago with only 5400 miles on the clock.
We bought our 2000 Coupe a few months ago. Absolute cherry condition garage queen, not even the smallest scratch on the paint and lots of mods (CAI, Exhaust, tune, chrome Z06 wheels, new Falken rubber, car cover, targa top garage rack, etc...) 25K miles. We gave $25,000 for it.

Wow $25,000 make me think I should sell my 99. Its sad to say, but the limited time I have keeps the C5 sitting. She only has 11,000 miles.....
my 01 vert in perfect condition 28K miles books at 32K
If that's true, my '01 coupe with 11K should bring in similar $$$, but the reality of it is books mean nothing... it is worth what somebody is willing to pay (as I am sure you know)... more like $25K, give or take.
The heck with sellin'... mine is narely broken in .
I paid $23k for my 99 over a year and a half ago..It was a loaded car from the original owner and had only 20k miles... I woud use kelly blue book, edmunds, and NADA as starting points to get a general idea of price....
