Tooth Ache

Guys I wanna install blue tooth technology into the cars stereo. I am assuming I need to upgrade my GM stock radio to 2000 or more since it is a 99 and 2000 is when GM changed radios to RDS??

Is this the case? If so, is it an easy swap?

I am considering a kit like this for GM cars.

The C5 never had RDS...the first vette to have RDS is the C6. '03 or newer head unit from GM is your best bet, that's when they really started using it.

My '04 does not have RDS.
