Thanks to 99VetteM6, I got my GM VIS on my 04 MN6 coupe w/ 13,000 miles on it. I was afraid to ask, and holding my breath as to what I was going to hear, but...WOO HOO, cause to celebrate! The only thing that showed up was
10/14/2003 292068 # B7270 - PLUG, HEADLAMP AIMING SCREW - ONE OR BOTH - REPLACE 100 miles
Now, what the heck was that all about? Anybody know what headlight aiming screw plugs are?
That means I still may have the dreaded CL to worry about. Mine is still hooked up and working. My serial number is just over 109,000. Did they have it straightened out by then maybe, because I haven't gotten a recall notice or anything.
The plugs are located just to the inside of the headlights when in the up position. Thier use is to "plug" the access hole used to reach the headlamp adjusting screw.
Can't help with the CL issue, I am still debating what to do about mine...
