Just bought a 99 convertable a few months back. Havent been able to enjoy it too much cause of the new endland weather, but I noticed I had no spare tire. Didnt see any jack or tools either. Where would this normally be? I assume the tire should have been in the truck under the panel, so i would like to get one in there. Are they usualy full size spares or donuts?

The car came out with runflat tires, which eliminates the need for a jack or spare. You can travel up to 200 miles at 55 mph with zero pressure - a nice security measure.

Is this just a way to increase your post count? You started a thread on the same subject a week ago on March 21st. It appears your question was answered numerous times there. Here is your quote from that thread:
"Just bought my first Vette a few months back and havent really been able to check everything out on it yet. New England....still waiting for winter to end. Anyway, its a 99...I dont have a spare..or even know if it came with one originaly...and if so where is the jack and all that stuff?
From: Edmond, OK...One of the first rules of online forums: If you don't like what is said but can't refute it, attack the poster.
He never posted again on his other "where's my spare". I bet he "lost" his thread and couldn't find it.....so, decided to repost the question.
So, if this is what happened, you can look under my recent topics at the top of the page and it will show you what posts you have responded to or started.

It may very well be in the truck, but not in the C5 trunk. The only thing under the panal in a C5 is the air that goes in the spare.
The C5 comes equipt with four spare tires, one mounted at each corner. The two in the rear are for the back, the two in the front are for ...... the front. They are all full size unless you are looking at them backwards through binoculars, then they are tiny spares.
You won't find any jack, the banks have it all. Once the weather breaks, and you get to drive your Vette, you will find there is no shortage of tools, they will come out of the woodwork looking to race.
Well, hope this helps, glad to be of service today... tip of the hat to ya
