The 'ol peace sign 'V' for me, or flash-to-pass lights on the freeway.

I just look for some recognition. Thumbs up, traditional wave, flip up the headlights. I don't think there is really an "official" way. And if someone starts preaching about the correct protocal for a wave...I'm gonna start flippin the bird with a smile

Not that I'm trying to analyze you or anything, but why did you feel like a clown shoe?

By Far the best wave, is the one given out the side window... many times the sun or and angle can make seeing a driver in the car waving difficult, but you can not mistake a wave from outside the side window,,,,unless it is really hot outside I always ride with the driver side window open, even with the Ac on.. elbow on the window sill.. a simple raise of the arm gets th job done..

The V is the official Corvette wave.

It's not the type of wave, it's the amount of red shift

I'm young...but follow his example for the wave. Who cares about age anyway? It's just a number!

No real set way to do a wave. As long as the other driver can see you wave, it should work. The key is actually either giving or responding to a wave.
