need backspacing for 02 zo6
The rear offset is 58mm or about 2 1/4 inches. That's the distance from the mounting surface to the center of the wheel. If it's actually backspacing that you want add half the wheel width - in this case 5 1/4 inches for a total of 7 1/2 inches backspace. That's from the mounting surface to the inner edge of the wheel. Does that make sense?

cenzo - your method of calculation is correct, however you didn't include the lip dimension.
A wheel's stated width (in this case 10.5") is measured inside the lips, where the tire seats. Overall width is 1" more, and the backspace dimension always includes that 1/2" of lip, since it is primarily used for gauging clearances around suspension parts and inner fenders.
So, the Z wheel is 11.5" wide overall.
Half that is 5.75", + the offset of 2.25" = 8" backspace.
