I took the ride control shocks off, and put a new set of bilstein shocks on. Of course I am getting codes thrown, and the pcm is limiting the car to 80 mph. Now before I did this, I assumed that a dealershio could disable the ride control feature. After calling around to every local dealership, I was told by law they cannot disable it because it is a safety feature. I also asked if they could disable the tire sensors as I have aftermarket wheels, they said no.
So I guess my question is, what do I do now? I am not gunna dump the cash into the car for new ride control shocks, and I love the way the bilsteins perform. Any suggestions or anyone that has had this problem, speak up.

you need to find a shop with a tech II...honestly some beer and a few bucks for the shop boy, and not go through the main office is probably your best bet.
Call around and see if you can't find another shop that has a Tech II, it's about a 2,000 dollar tool but is very helpfull if you're working on newer GM's every day.

Ya I just caleld bilstein and they told me I need to unplug the shock control box, and have someone with a tech 2 reprogram it. I have been calling around to local shops and nobody has a clue wtf I am talking about.

You can go the deprogramming route or you can go with simulators. Many of the usual online venders suspects have them for about $200. With simulators, you "fool" your existing system into thinking that the stock shocks are there. I would start with Los Angeles Performance Division: http://www.thelapd.com/Merchant2/mer...y_Code=comptts
They helped me out with my junk suspension, I mean F45. I can't say enough positive things about these guys.
