Does this filters mods will work???
Just ordered this stuff for my new 01 MY :
Granateli Mass Airflow Sensor and HALLTECH 97-2001 C5 TRIC/MAG LS1 filter system. My question is, does the Halltech filter system comes with the Mass airflow sensor already?? LAPD told me this Halltech system will work on my Z06, the things is that I believe it is mostly for off road (racing) and not for every day use. Is this correct??
I got to tell you guys here in Panama (Central America) there are 3 Vettes and mine is the only Z06, I love the looks of people when they see it….. The power is great.

The tric/mag system will definitely work on the 01 Z. It does not come with it's own MAF unless you specified this. I have the tric/mag etc on my 01 and you will notice the difference---you will love it. I don't know about the G MAF. Just don't destroy the stock MAF and you can do your own comparo. I am running with a stock MAF :hat

If you follow the instructions, you will have no problems with the hood. If you have the bottom breather, the filter will rest on the front spoiler. If you have the S confirguration, still no problems. Get that darn thing on there and tell us how you like it. Also, you don't need to do a computer relearn, just drive it for about 50 miles. :D
