A- design
If it was just the power I could have saved myself a ton of money.

First the FRC design (I had an LT-4), but I wasn't selling the LT-4 for the same performance. Then GM added HP to the FRC to create the Z06 . . . now we're talking.

Coulda had the same power in a Camaro or Firebird. I never, even for a second, considered buying one.
But I wanted a C5 since the first time I ever saw one.

Design.....
power is nice, but most cars can become powerhouses with modification.

C5 design. At 6'3" it was the only one I could comfortably get into and out of. The power is great, as well.

You need to add an option for both.

Definitely design and looks...at 5'3" it's the only car i don't need a ladder to get into!
And...I'm actually taller than my vette. OK, OK, not by much

Because I had a C2, C3's, a C4, so it was time for a C5. But no C6 unless I can put a C5 body on it.

The looks and the power for the PRICE. Originally looked at some Porches - the boxer was one of them. Drove the vette and decided that it would be the car for me. Have a DD so this is my toy. And believe it or not, the corvette tax isn't as much as the Porche tax.
