When I bought my C5, the previous owner gave me an extra set of mufflers with 4 inch quad tips. He said they were Borlas and were too quiet for him, so he put Magnaflows on it. That was in 2001. My question is this: Did Borlas have their name stamped on the tips or mufflers back then like they do now? They don't have a name on them but do look like Borlas and they are stainless steel. Thanks in advance for your responses. They are larger mufflers, not the bullet looking ones.

Borla back in 01 did not stamp their names on the tips, like they do now. I was trying to get them to make me a pair without the name stamped on them ( Looks kinda of Ricer ) but couldn't get any help so I passed.

Thanks for the info. Guess I may put them on and see the difference. The Magnaflows are a bit louder than I like.

My son has Borla Stingers on his vette and the name is stamped on the tips. I have a Borla Exhaust and the name is only on the Muffler. Hope this helps.
