I put mine on the other day it took about 10 min. I went through a manual car wash and out the high pressure hose right on them and they did held up perfectly. Plus Grant gives you extra ones incase you need it.
A few quick tips on installation for anyone who is getting these:
(1) It helps if you have some fingernails! The toughest part of the whole job was getting the decals off the paper backing!
(2) You can't use TOO much wetting agent. A lot is good, more is better!
I think they look . The only question I have at this point is how they will hold up to heat, washing, etc. Time will tell
I agree 100% with tip #1. I destroyed one of the overlays trying to get it peeled off.
Damn they make quite a diffence. Now I don't have to cuss and kick at dirt every December when I put my winter wheels and tires back on.
thanks for sharing the pics. Grant's a nice guy, I hope he makes some good $$$ off of these. He worked hard to come up with a usable/practical product.
From: the GOCC are everywhere, even back from "band camp"
Nice. Do they look as nice in person, or too one dimensional? As some know, I've always felt the Wagon Wheel was under appreciated, especially in chrome. 35 toad skins is within my budget too, if I skip lunch this week...
