I like split windows (That is what I have), but I didn't care for the retro mod to the C5. The C5 doesn't need any changes - looks great "As is".
Dave
yesir, C5's are great stock, and lowered they look even better. Only other car that looks good normally is a supra. And the supercars that i'll never be able to afford, but they are besides the point :P
I saw this car at the Barrett Jackson auction and it reminded me of the old Johnny Cash song about stealing a car from the factory over many years..." I got it one piece at a time". I thought it was revolting and looked like a cheap kit car.
An interesting excersize in exterior automotive design. BUT, IMHO, I must admit that this body kit detracts much too far away from the original, and, more recognizable design cues of the C5. However, to each his own.
Not at all attractive.....I'm sure it's somebodys pet, but ..... for me. I am not at all against the idea of body kits and mods, some are REALLY good looking and enhance the original lines, and some, well.....There is no accounting for taste.
Oh Yeah, Its now April 1st, It must be an April Fools Joke!
