Extremely easy. The shifts are more stiff at first but after a while they become easier. You can change out springs to make it easier or bias to one side or another. Remove the shift stop screws or use loctite. You dont want them to become loose becuse they work into the shifter and prevent you from shifting into gear.
If you dont like it just remove and replace with the stocker....
Directions are provided. Also, you can search for links to people that have posted pictures. I would but i lost all my links when my comp crashed last week.
As others said... easy to do. With the exception of removeing the 'demon' key. But follow the instructions and it's not bad. Consider doing some of the noise reduction mods for the Hurst while you are doing it. Some have had some rattling noise after install, but there are some good counter measures for this. Hope you enjoy your Hurst as much as I do mine.
Demon keys are easy to remove IF you use a paint can lid opener like the free ones at Home Depot or Lowes. You hook the lip on the opener under one side of the demon key and press down slowly.
