Default drivers side window is not working thanks stan !!!!!

My drivers side window had stopped working so yesterday my friend took the door panel off tapped the regulator a couple of times and it started back to working. THanks Stan you are the man dont forget your beer is on the way!!!!!! thanks.

It is giving you a warning sign that it is about to crap out for good.

Mine does it all the time. I've replaced both window regulators and they still do it from time to time. When they quit working I just hit the door panel hard while pushing the window button. They'll usually work again for a while.

I will give this a try as my passenger window is not working.

just an update my window stopped working yesterday afternoon. I dorve my car to work parked it went in the building , when i got off work it was not working . The temp yeserday was in the 70s. This morninh when i was leaving the health club at 6am it started back to working again. the temp was in the 40s this morning.

Its most likely not the regulator but the door control module. The relay for window up/down is shot. Check in the C5 Tech section and you'll find a fix for just a couple of bucks.

That is the same thing that happens to me all the time. Living in Houston it is pretty warm 24/7. I now can remove the bottom right hand side of the panel only and reach in with the end of a big screwdriver and give it a wack. Works everytime. Takes about 5 minutes now.
