belt noise
I got tired of hearing the belt whine so what I did was
1. wire brush and scrap rust from harmonic balancer
2. with a q-tip brush silicone onto harmonic balancer
3. drive to autozone and ordered a gatorback belt
the silicone did work but I want to fix this problem for good

Hopefully all the work you did will stop the noise. Sometimes it can be a real PITA to track down a whine.
