white vert tops?
Why dont you see more white vert tops? On what color and years
was a white vert top available? And any pics of these cars would be great!
Was there any diffrence in the build quality from a black vert top? thanks

i believe all years, usually <5% of the build, very rare, usually white/white/red gut

On Tuesday this week I'm replacing the white vinyl top on my car with a black Robbins top. My car is a 98 and the top lasted 8 years which is pretty good but this car is not a DD and is always garaged. In spite of that the top looked dingy and finally started to show it's age.
The black top - I got the upgraded fabric - is much more luxurious. Just added the Z06 brake ducts today. Let's see - Arctic White, black top, Z06 brakes ducts =

There was a c5 vert in my old town that I moved from. It was VERY unusual..It was that light metallic blue (forget GM name) with a white top and silver wagon wheels...can't say it was my favorite...
I like the oak top on my white vert and the burgundy color vette, but nothing beats a black top on most of the rest of the colors.
BTW, how tough is it to change the top?

We have white vinyl tops on both our Corvette convertibles ('96 Grand Sport and '02 Electron Blue). The GS came stock with white vinyl tops...the '02 was special ordered with red interior and white top. We find them much easier to clean than the fabric tops. Neither show any signs on wear at all.

I had a white top on one of my C5's.
Over the Mag Red it was wonderful
However - keeping it clean was. well you know......
Also, the white top is not cloth as are all other colors.

Mine also has the firethorn red interior. This was not a color combo recomended by GM but I have gotten a lot of nice comments on it!
