OK I need to change from the z06 exhaust,I can't wait to hear other exhaust. I have been going back and forth from GHL Bullets to B&B PRT's i'm still thinking of going with the B&B Bullets so my ? would be are they too overly loud or are most of you realy happy with the thunder they have. This is me
"I just bought a stock EB 03 blk/vert 6/speed W/z06 Ti (no thunder)"
I love my B&B Bullets. I've had them on about 3 months now and I'm really glad I picked this catback. They are supposed to be one of the loudest aftermarket catback systems available. I was surprised that they weren't louder when I put them on though. Because according to some of the opinions on this forum they are ridiculously and unbearably loud. But I don't feel that way. I guess once I put my headers and high flow cats on they will be really loud.
If you visit the mid america site, the sound bites on that chart work.
It is hard to compare, partly because they are recorded at different volume levels, but you can get a feel for the sound
I can tell you that the prt clip is RIGHT ON THE MONEY!!
I have had 3 systems thus far: Bullet, PRT and Stinger. These were all on C5's.
The Stinger and PRT systems sounded roughly equivalent to me. Both have the motor boat gurgle at idle and really light up at WOT.
The Bullet system has a lot more bass and sounds more muscular at all throttle openings. At start up, it sounds like I added 50 more HP and about 150 cubic inches. The difference was immediately noticeable and put a huge grin on my face. At WOT, this system is simply thunderous, whereas the others are sweet, but sound almost raspy (for lack of a better term) in comparison.
