Brake Change
forgive my ignorance. I typically haqng out with the bottom feeders over in the C-4 forum. Do C-5 guys look to upgrade their brake setups? C-4 guys always want to upgrade to C-5 brakes - or else go with a baer or some other set-up - so I was just wondering if the C-5 guys upgrade?
The reason I ask is that I have some incentive to upgrade - just got accepted into the Nevada Sand Hills open road race and shootout - so I need to seriously consider upgrading brakes. So I'm wondering if you guys like your brakes - if not why - and what do you change to?

Unless you're running the track on a regular basis, I think most are happy with the stock brakes. The new C6 brakes have gotten a lot of attention, but from the posts I've read, they are more about look than overall improved performance.
