[Z06] Cut Outs? Possible damage??

I do not have cutouts, but I do know some guys that do and I have never heard of any concerns about motor damage from cutouts. The cutouts are usually installed towards the rear of the car so you still have enough exhaust pipe length to produce back pressure. I think it is a non issue so go for it if you are so inclined.

Engine damage not generally an issue. But a friend mounted his and didn't notice they dumped exhaust at his rear spring, which eventually broke from the heat. So just pay attention to where they are aimed.
