Rocky Mountain Radar Detector
Do any of you have a Rocky Mountain Radar Detector? I called one of my customers to see if he carried the Passport 8500 X50. He told me that he did but that the Rocky Mountain was better. Can any of you that have experience with this detector verify or dispute this? Thanks.

I have also used one! Definately didn't Jam any radar/laser like they claim it does and functioned like a usual radar detector.

I hate the Rocky Mountain!! About a year ago I bought one and it's worse than the basic $40 cobra... I now have an X50 and love it

I've had a RMR for about 6 years now. It's an excellent radar detector as far as detectors. It's absolutely useless as far as a laser jammer.
I read an unbiased report about the unit and they even said that the closest thing that the RMR comes to jamming laser is the advertisement on the box.
Having said that, I still prefer my two X50's...
