Default Shipping Vette recommendations please

I am looking to ship two vettes. Can anyone recommend a good, private, covered carrier?

Thanks

I bought my vette in Texas and had it shipped to me here in Illinois. The car had nice company. A 57 caddy formally owned by Marilyn Monroe. The
transporter hauls cars for a local auto museum. I would try that route

You might try calling Roger's Corvette Center in Maitland, FL. He probably ships as many Vettes as anyone and has been doing it a long time. See who they use. You might even be able to get on a backhaul the next time they have a car going to the Northeast.

I too had this same question last year and thankfully someone turned me on to a company right here in MA. I bought my vet from a dealership in Montana (Fichtner Chevrolet) and live south of Boston. The transportation company "Intercity Lines,Inc." (Warren,MA.) was absolutly incredible as they handled my car like a new born baby. The couple who drove the truck and loaded all the cars were a married couple who have been doing this for 15 years and are as professional as it gets. I have to say that the day my car arrived to my door, that mine was probably one of the lower rated models they had....as I got to see a $180,000.00 Lamborhgini, and a 1955 Chevy that was priceless. Anyway my point is that they carry only the best and top notch vehicles, all in-closed trailers and the service and price was more than fair and reasonable. At least call and speak to someone for a quote and read the numerous letters of recommondation from people who have big-bucks vehicles.

Intercity. Great reviews. Always see them at Barrett Jackson. Don't know if they go north to south. I think only east west/west east. They didn't travel from SC to IL, otherwise probably would have used them.

I used reliable auto carriers enclosed trucks for my 1998 Pace Car. Excellent service and they haul some very expensive cars.

Horseless Carriage Carriers - also heard great things about them. Only reason I didn't use them at the time was they were booked way out. Probably because they are good!

If you can use one of these three I think you will have made a good choice. Mine was $950 for covered transportation from SC to northern IL.

Good luck!

Chris

ps. Don't use a broker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
