My sentiments exactly...we keep hearing reports from our government that things have never been better, yet people are getting laid off right and left. While not an oldtimer, I am not young either (38 years old), and I don't remember things this bad since Bush senior was in office.

While I personally feel okay with my position today, the future doesn't feel as secure as it used to.

Sorry about the bad luck. Congrates on the decision that you two made about the stay at home mom. Glad to know that people still put family in front of cars or other objects. You have made the best decisions, even though they are hard to accept at this time. Best of luck in the future to you, your wife, and child.

You're to be admired for having your priorities straight.

Best of luck and don't let this get you down. It'll turn around for you and you'll be driving whatever you want, and probably a lot sooner than you think right now.

I'll be sure and wave at every hot blonde chick I see driving a vert. No matter where I'm driving. But I will definitely be looking for her on the 55 and 57.

Remember - we're family here too, and Vette ownership ISN'T a requirement of being on this forum - just because your car is going, doesn't mean you have to leave along with it -

Stick around here, we'll provide you some entertainment, you'll find a bigger, better job, your little one will grow to a big girl, so enjoy her while you can, and before you know it, you'll be in a better Vette!

Best of luck, but don't feel you have to leave.
