Does anyone else have this problem? Mine just started happening this week. When I drive with the roof off my coupe, I keep the sun visors down, and push them all the way forward. That has worked well for the last year that I've owned my C5.
This week, however, whenever I drive on bumpy roads/accelerate/whatever, it keeps falling down, and getting in the way! Both the drivers and the passengers, and they started doing this at the same time... Any ideas? Solutions?
I really don't like the visors "up", I think it looks tacky, and I believe it ruins the mirrors. I actually had new visors installed (thanks GMPP) when I got the car, because those mirror lights wouldn't turn off; they were falling apart.
I actually had a similar problem on my coupe as well, a little piece from the mirror on the visor became wobbley, so i then used some good 'ole fashion electric tape (to match black color), little here little there and everything stays afloat now.
I like my visors up that way it doesnt get in the way when looking straight out, but w/e makes you happy works!
I'm seriously considering taking mine off. I don't have a problem with them slipping but they block my view slightly, in order to have a full view out the windshield I have to swing them into the full up position which I agree looks tacky. I've done some cursory looking into how to do this but nothing obvious jumps out at me. Anyone know how to do this?
mine did the same thing. its the plastic clip that the sunvisor snaps into.go to your friendly chevrolet dealer and order one.worked for me, it was only a couple of bucks
