Default Some Spring mod pics - dialup no good

Well, I survived the freak snowstorm today. Decided to take some photos of my interior mods I did over the weekend. I replaced my black interior door panels with some TR panels I bought from a nice couple off e-bay. Removing the door panels were pretty easy and straight forward. I used the VetteEssentials directions. The pins that hold the door panels in place make a "gut wrenching" sound when you pull on them. I also painted my door handle bezels TR, very easy to do.

I installed the neo-seat covers a few weeks ago. They were a Christmas gift from my S/O. Man, I love those seat covers, they're pretty comfy. I thank S/O properly every night... I also installed the radio and A/C control buttons this past weekend. I will be painting the radio surround bezel sometime in the near future.

I bought the TR roof panel off another guy on e-bay. Yea, I'm a "E-Bay" fanatic. I finally adjusted the hinges this past weekend also. Very easy to do.

This is actually a serious milestone for me. I'm usually on the road alot training soldiers at different locations and I don't get to see my car that much. I've been saving up all these mods for quite sometime. PM me if you would like to know the details of each install.

BTW, my black door panels will be on sale in a few minutes if anyone is interested. I will list them in the C5 parts section.

How did you remove the plastic frames around your inside door pulls in order to paint them?

Paint door handle bezels
1. Remove door handle bezels.
2. No need to sand, they are black molded plastic.
3. Spray filler primer, $3.00 Walmart. 2 coats and sand, 1 more coat and sand until surface is smoothe.
4. Spray on TR paint, 2 cans from Walmart for about $5. Sand if needed.
5. Spray on 1 coat of clear, $1.50 Walmart. and wet sand.

Took about 4 hours, mostly waiting for paint to dry.
