Default Seats not interchangeable?

I had sport seats in my car already. It is a 98. I have noticed that other year sport seats have 2 plugs and my car only has one in the wiring harness. Why is that and what option am I going to lose because I can't plug the other in?

Thanks

I am sure it has something to do with memory/easy entry option. Did you get your new black sport seats that you were looking for?

What year sport seats did you buy? Maybe somebody with a manual could then tell you what the connectors are for.

Power for the ejection seat? RPO AAB Memory package (includes

settings for sport seats) required a second circuit to the seat..

Connectors are different on earlier than later ones. Not sure when it changed. Mine were a direct plug in with one plug. If the car has a telescopic steering column, and memory, that is controlled by the seat module. The memory feature of the column that is. There is a separte plug for that. I think some seats had a 3rd connector as well.
