I am looking for a tire pump to use in the home garage, that plugs into AC wall outlets, and is easy to carry to all three cars in the garage and keep the tire pressures maintained. What have you folks found for yours, and what is the brand and cost? Ideally I would like to spend under $100. Right now I use a pump that plugs into the cigarette lighter in the cars, and it is agonizingly slow and loud. I have seen the $50 job from Sharper Image and don't really like it. Thanks. Jon
I have a pancake air compressor in the garage. Kinda like this one. It has other uses also. Like blowing dust out of the air conditioning vents, engine compartment. The air hoses come in different lengths, so you can easely go from one side of the garage to the other side leaving the compressor in one spot. Check out ebay they have several to choose from.
I use a tank-less air compressor I bought at Sears a long time ago. It was cheap and works great. Only downside is that it is noisy, as it always bleeds air.
