I have a 04Z and no miss at idle. You may not either cause it should idle like a ZO6 not a pickup. Different cam and on and on...Take it to a trusted tech an find out, is it throwing any codes on the DIC??
Its not a miss but the stock cam profile in the Z06 is pretty aggresive for a factory car therefore its not uncommon to get a little bit of a shake at idle.
No miss here, just a little cam lope. That's why I bought the Z06!
Chevy power train engineers call it "incomplete cylinder filling" . I think that's engineer speak for aggressive cam. Feels like it shuffles back and forth sideways intermittantly when idling. I think the odd firing order is why it manifests itself as a shuffle vs the rocking that used to be experienced from high lift cams of pre-Gen III engines.

What you are describing sounds like normal conditions for a Z06. I actually like the lope and wish I had more! It is definitely more pronounced at startup when the engine is cold, but simmers down once the temps come up. A miss would be much more pronounced then what you are describing and would generally be evident at other rpms as well.
Enjoy it...you are driving a high performance car and it is supposed to make some noises...it's all part of the Z06 shake, rattle and roll!
