things to powdercoat?
so far, I have lots of stuff to coat on the bike, but only the valve covers, throttle body housing, and BBK intake come to mind. What else can you come up with?
I have black, semi gloss, and flat black PC coming...
I recently bought some awesome condition thin spokes, only
my deep purple car looks best with chrome - but these spokes are 'painted/coated - silver'
since chroming thin spokes is expensive, and because I also really like the 'dark grey / anthracite??' color of the Z06 wheels, I was wondering about getting them powder coated in that darkish grey
- let me know how long it would take and if you would be up for it ?
pppppppppppppplease

back to you tho ... what to powder coat
1. calipers
2. undercarriage frame rails?
3. sway bar
4. alternator
5. shocks or shock housings
6. conduit between air intake
7. can you powder coat parts of the disc's that tend to rust?
8. metal brackets under the nose
Freestyler
. So yeah, if that'll only do one wheel, it's a lot of effort/cost for one set of wheels. Now, if that 10lbs will do a set, it's not so bad. If it goes further? Fantastic!Freestyler: let me get everything up and running. I'll see how far I can go on the few lbs of powder I have. After I get everything up and running, we'll see about doing some 'custom' work for forum members

darn things are already rusty on mine, im probably going to have mine done next winter
Bob
Mine came coated black
Also, i could coat the hot parts, but it takes a special powder and it's quite a bit more expensive. However, if someone is up for buying some, I'll do my best (after I get all this stuff mastered... i'd had to ruin someone's pieces)
Now THAT name looks familar! How've you been? What did you go with for new wheels??
The rear sway would be nice black, but i don't have a way to "cure" a piece that big. If I get really, really in to this PC stuff, I'll buy the IR lamp and REALLY start cooking!
