I don't understand alignment at all and I just lowered my car. What are the exact specs I should give to the alignment shop? I would like something in between reg C5 and Z06. I really want to give whoever does it exact specs with nothing for the m to play with. This is a 98' if it matters.

It has to do with your wheels and suspension... I use the C5 specs (I'm lowered all the way with stock wheels)

 

Yeah but even with C5 specs isn't there room for play? I am use to dealing with incompetant mechanics around here so I would like to give them EXACT specs.

 

They should have the specs in the computer...

And if you don't feel they know how to do it, go to another shop... I wouldn't let them touch my car if I even got a hair of suspicion.

 

When they ask you what car it is, tell them your car is a z06, and those are the spec's you want.

 

Even if I tell them Z06 specs though, isn't there still room for play, i.e. +/- this and that? I am really looking for someone to actually type in a good set of specs that is somewhere between reg. C5 and Z06 specs.
