Corvette Key Arrived.....Overview Inside
Initial quality is outstanding. Both units are without flaw and seem to be a good piece. Programming was as indicated in my AE's owner's manual and it too went without a hitch.
Went to the local dealer to have the key cut. Did it quickly and did NOT charge me for the service....pretty cool.
Key works in the ignition well, a bit knotchy but I bet it will get better.
OVERVIEW:
It took a long time to get the fob, about a month. I would not have a problem with that if it had been advertised as such, but I will give them the benifit of the doubt in that it is a new product.
I like it ! And....I recommend it for others. The artwork is very good and the colors are spot on. The spring mechanism works with a good feel and seems to be of high quality. Even though it is about the size of a Zippo lighter it fits well in my pocket.
I am pleased !

If I'm way off base, let me know. I may be having a flashback!

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

"5. How do I know what VATS key to order?
Corvette's come with what is known as a VATS key (that's the black pellet near the head of the actual key). The VATS keys come in 15 different variations and only one will work with your Corvette. Many Corvette owners already know their VATS number, for those who don't there are many easy ways you can figure it out (listed below):
1. Call your dealer with your VIN number, and request the VATS number. (5 minutes) -Best Option-
2. Use a reader to read the VATS code, this is very easy to do, just tell us the reading and we'll send the key.
3. Email our support staff at Support@CorvetteKey.com and we will help you get the aquire the Vats code."
As stated ... no reply from them as of this post.
