special how-to section

special how-to section
hey everyone, you know i go to other forums and check it out and many of the other forums have some great how-to sections. on this forum there are many great write-ups on how to install so many parts. can it be possible for a special section like general discussion or parts for sale to be one for a how-to. that would be a great addition to this forum instead of always searching it. just wanted to throw out the idea.

There is a "tech tips" section here, but it doesn't ever seem to be updated or used by many.
In fact, many probaby don't even know it exists or where to find it.
I agree that section should be revitalized and promoted, something people can easily contribute to, and easy to find and use for those seeking help.

Used to be only addicted to General. But now i find myself leap froging back and forth to Parts, FI/Nitrous, to Tech, back to General, then to Perf Results, back to General, then to Tech, back to General, then to Parts, back to FI/Nitrous, back to parts, back to General, back to Parts, back to General, back to Tech, then to Perf results, then back to General, oh i gotta go to Parts. Bye

The tech tips section has been here since 2000. No one has been able to add a tip or make corrections in a few years. The CF seems to have no one there to update or administer that section...Although Ive heard that they are going to do something with it soon.

I have heard that if you write it up and PM a Mod it will get added but mine never did for headlight motor rebuild...my best advice is when you see something save it to favorites for future use and to help others out.
