Work Wheels of Japan has been marketing wheels for the domestic U.S.A. (common GM 5X4 3/4 bolt circle) market since the eighties. And, like most wheel companies, the manufacturing procedures of Work Wheels has evolved as newer wheel tooling, technologies, materials, consumer demand, and, availability was introduced.
Furthermore, the custom three piece Work "Aero-Star", and, the Work "Emotion" wheels were on my C4, and, GTA's in the late eighties and early nineties. And, today, the current development and selective manufacturing processes of this specific custom wheel manufacturer (Work Wheels) are similar to another custom aftermarket wheel line made in Japan and distrbuted by the Tire Rack: SSR Wheels.
Those look nice enough, but there is a reason they are called Work wheels. Imagine cleaning the brake dust off all 20 Spokes. THATS WORK! Z06 Wheels are 10 spokes, and those take awhile to clean. Just thought I would bring that up.
