Window valet program error?

Window valet program error?
Finally got and installed a window valet in my '01 coupe. Windows go up and down fine except when I use the windows up gesture the windows go all the way up then start down again, stopping at fully open. What could I have done wrong in the programming?

your windows need to be in the fully open position and then you use the valet to close them.
if they're half way open they will hit the top and come back down.
if they're half way open they will hit the top and come back down.

If that doesnt work, you will need to re-calibrate the windows. To do this put the windows all the way up, then start the programming and select the calibration mode. If you don't have the precise instructions, pm me and I will get mine out and send them to you. The valet will then open the windows all the way and then close them all the way. Make sure your top is up/on so it knows where the normal closed position is when you do this, otherwise it may get confused and think your arm or other object is in the way and it will automatically open up again as a safety mechanism. I just did a re-calibrate procedure today after cleaning key fob contacts. My windows were doing the same thing, go all the way closed, but then re-open. After a quick re-calibration all is well.
