First Timer
I have finally came accross one.
Torch Red/Oak 2000 convertable, 6m, 53.5k miles. Awesome shape and the couple I purchased it from had a C5 Z06, which I nearly drooled over, but that wasn't for sale.
All I wanted to was drop a line and let the whole world know, that I know what I have been missing all my life! Glad to be here and hope to make many more memories.

It was such a pretty day today, that I wish I would have taken more pictures outside. Instead I have to settle with dark garage photos.
My cheep Sony camera does no justice until I can get really nice ones done.
The story goes, my father found this one in the newspaper. I called the number early Sunday afternoon after a day in yard work. I had a bowling league that night and missed their call. I was so anxious, that I called back at 9pm, apologizing the lateness of the call. He told me they have owned 4 and was ready to part with this one. I pondered that remark and thought that this had to be the one. I was looking for nothing but convertables, 6m and stricked on red or black. Before I got this ad and 4 weeks of looking, I was about to second guess myself and pick anything that came. I left work around lunch time to take a look at it and spent a good 1.5 hours there and we agreed on a price and found a friend who dropped me off a few hours later ready to drive this one home. I assure to this couple that they have left it with good hands.
I am now the 3rd owner of the C5, the first owner had it as a lease and this couple picked it up in Indianapolis from a dealer and got it registered here in Charleston SC. A few years and several miles later, I came along. As a footnote, I pulled a CarFax on the Vette, and found out the first registered milage date @ 4 miles was on April 11, 2000. Happy Birthday!
Thanks all.

Welcome, and enjoy the Vette
