change this to RAVE!!!! I got waved to 2x's today.. ok... not by vette owners.... but individuals just walking around on the side walks.... maybe they thought i was someone else but I waved back...

I hear ya. One of my other vehicles is a highly modified CJ7, so the Jeep wave has kept me in practice in the too long gap between my C3 and C5.

You might have seen us passing thru Columbia on the way to Hoaks. It's a huge Lime Green CJ on 38.5" tires so we're hard to miss. Maybe we'll pass each other, either in our Jeeps or Vettes and get to wave. My Vette is a Spiral Gray coupe.

I find more C6 drivers don't wave... i've gotten 50/50 with C5's, most to all c4 and lower gens wave....

My wife and I were in the Dallas area last week tooling around in late afternoon traffic when a guy in a RED C3 VERT gave us a BIG wave. Made me feel good all over

I my area I get waves from most Corvette generations. Did someone at they Chevy dealers forget to tell the C6 guys. My dealer told me.

Been thinking about doing the you wave first and then i wave back thing. Especially with the C6's. Sometimes i wonder why i even bother. Theres just too few of us anymore that uphold the tradition. In the late 60's when i had my first vette seemed everyone would wave. Now maybe 20-30 percent wave

You're going to learn quickly (maybe you have already) that life goes on and the world is not coming to an end if someone doesn't wave to you. Just enjoy your car and move on.....
