anyone running Flowmaster exhausts?
just curious if anyone is running flowmaster exhaust systems on there ZO6??
not sure which exhaust to get

I have flowmasters on my FRC and I love it. I have the Double D tips and I am not totally crazy about the way they look. The tips are stainless steel, so they should last forever. They have a new set with round (or oval, can't remember) but they look good. I love flow masters, have them on my z71 pickup too! They really do sound awsome at WOT and there is virtually no drone. Some people here on the forum talk down about them, but I have NO idea why! They were on my car when I bought it. I installed them on my pickup many years ago and they were the best mod I ever did to the truck - Dave

thanks.. i like the sound they have also...not sure why people here dont like them , maybe as far as HP gains for the ZO6 there not ideal, i dont know
either way i would like something that sounds the same...

I had Flows on my cobra, but for Corvettes there's far better systems out there as far as quality, apperance, sound, and performance. I looked at flows early on but soon realized it wasn't the way to go for the vette.

I had a set of flowmasters on my c3 and loved them. I never heard any personally on a c5. I also didnt like the D shape of the exhaust. It would have been nicer if the d filled in the opening better. Ive got nothing against their performance. Maybe just the price of them for the vette.
