intering my first show in may question
were having a vette show here may 6 in beaumont tx its near houston and was going to put my car in the stock class.its my first show and i plan to add things as time goes on to move up to the custome class.was wondering do the engin bay makeovers still count as stock maybe jim could answer this for me or someone else who does shows.the guy at the sighn in just said no murials or part changes but wasnt sure about chrome and painted parts.

The definition of what qualifies in the stock class can vary depending on the show organizers. Your best bet is to contact one of the people putting on the show and just ask them about your car and its mods. I enter the stock class in a lot of shows and mine is no where near stock - at least not appearance wise. Good luck in your first show.
