Calipers New Color?

I have decided to paint my calipers. Initially I was sure I was going to do the in red but now I'm thinking maybe something else.
The car is 99 Pewter Coupe (bet you couldn't guess that

)

Car currently still has original wagon wheels but I am planing on changing them out for a set of the black Z06 style

Any suggestions for color(s) that would look good?

With pewter, i'd go either Black or Red. Personally i'd go black, and polish the lettering.

I painted mine black. I've got the thin spoke wheels and I think it looks great. Put on some non-rust rotors too.

I've seen pewter colored calipers on pewter colored C5's and it looked good. If I ever paint mine that's the color I'm going to use.

Personally I like red - but it really depends on what you're trying to achieve. If you want contrast and really have the calipers stand out - you can't go wrong with red. I don't buy that argument that it's already been done...so what? Every Z06 came out of the factory with red calipers, and still does.

If you are after subtle, black is good. But you already said you're going to get black wheels. The black calipers will blend in behind those wheels, unless that's what you're trying to achieve.
