Default Need advice - Headlights

Hi all!

I bought my first Vette in Nov. of last year - it's a '98 Vert

I need some advice regarding a headlight problem. When I bought the car the headlights popped up, but wouldn't go on. The dealer did some type of repair before delivery, but the problem happened a couple more times and went away. I know the car was on the lot for 6+ months and just attributed it to being idle. This past couple of weeks I have a new problem - I shut the car off and the headlights remain on. They go down initially, then pop back up and stay on (always able to get them to go off eventually). Is this some feature of the car gone awry, a switch problem???

Thank for your help
Steve

Could be a problem with the body control module (BCM). You have any codes showing on the DIC?

Default Headlight switch

Yup, it did turn out to be the switch. turn it all the way off and the lights stay on, but put it between off and parking lights and they go off. Guess this means a trip to the dealer

Thanks,
Steve

Default Trip to the dealer....

I made the dreaded trip to the dealer lasty week to have my headlight problem fixed. $250 for the switch plus labor.
Ouch

...also had 2 pressure sensors replaced, new struts for the trunk and a key made - almost 1K total.

On the happy side, many things are fixed and she's ready for the summer!
