Hell, if you're really paying to retain a lawyer, might as well use him.

Throw yourself on the mercy of the court and leave slick ***** at home or defending real criminals. Pay to play....that how it works.

I'm going to make a list all the people, and if I'm ever looking for another vette I'll hit them up, all their cars should be barely broken in!

If he was in Dallas, theres plenty of Interstate areas in town that you would suppose would be 70, but they're not...they're 55 and they nab you if your not aware of it. Happened to me in another vehicle when I was caught on an interstate for 70 in a 55 that felt like an interstate...which it was..only the speed limit wasnt.

Did you see the 55 mph statement? Doing 90 in a 55 here (Washington) nets willful wreckless driving which is what it is. If he had killed someone would u say lay off? There is another thread around here talking about that. Pay the fine and consider yourself lucky you can still drive.

It ticks me off when people have to use lawyers to bail them out for their own stupidity.
I was thinking the same thing. I was wondering what the "lawyer" bit was all about ... being that he was doing 89 in a 55. Not like he was doing 59 in 55 ... That would be a "F***** ticket" ... it was 89 ... and I'm willing to bet there were moments he was moving more then that.

Suck it up. You broke the law .. pay the fine, be more careful in the future and move on.

Its your money...right. Pay the ticket or get the attorney and try and get it reduced and pay the attorney and the court....or lose the case and you really get to pay. Usually works the best with the attorney....but again its YOUR money you do what you think is best.

Here we go again. I just love these vette owners with lingenfelters, magnusons, cams and all the mods in the world driving like The guy got a ticket for being a stupid ***, we all know the consequences, he's simply stating his situation.

Hey everyone!! I've got the neatest little gizmo on my Corvette. You find it on the left side of the steering wheel. It's called CRUISE CONTROL. If you use it, your lawyer bills are much cheaper!!!

Yes I know there is a thread about someone getting killed in a vette speeding, but the fact remains only a small percentage, something like 3of all accidents happen on 1 way multilane interstate highways. Most happen elswhere, 2 way lanes, intersections, stop signs and red lights, racing, etc etc. So it's like saying since 1 plane crashes flying is dangerous. I know it happens I'm just saying we really should put things into perspective, people are acting like he was racing another car in a school zone while chugging from a beer in his hand talking on his cell phone. There are a lot of really stupid things people are doing everyday that deserve these responses.
