[Z06] Power Steering Flush?

Power Steering Flush?
I brought my 2003 Z06 with 21K miles in for an oil change. The dealer recommended a power steering flush and said I needed to replace the brake fluid in the master cylinder. They didn't charge me for the oil change. The bill came to $245.80. Was I hosed? Was all this necessary?

Replacing brake fluid isn't a bad idea. It absorbs moisture over time.
I never heard of changing PS fluid unless the pump fails.
2 pints of brake fluid cost between $6 (Valvoline Synthetic) to $70 (Castrol SRF) if you do it your self. GM fluid is probably $15.
Synthetic PS fluid is about $15 per quart.
Did you get hosed? Dunno. I would have done it myself.
