I had just pulled into my mother's drive way to fix my little brother's computer... When I pulled in, knowing my brother was home I thought i'd get his attention by reving up in the drive way... after coming back to ideal I quickly shut her off and rolled out... as I did so I noticed a child... he was rolling around on his John deer trik and come to a complete stop right behind the vette... his face "you have a cool fast race car" Never in my life have I seen someone so impressed by anything so much like he was with my vette... I said "thanks... whats your name"? "chase...... will you race my dad when he gets back home... he's in the army? replied with sure and started racing home on his tractor to go tell mom of his find...
That's pretty cool! I have noticed kids dig the car (hope women dig it more ).
The day after I got mine, I was at a stoplight waiting to turn left, an SUV was behind me. The light turned green, I started to go, and as I was midway into the turn, I tapped the gas a hair and the car spun the tires and the back end slid a little. I let up off the gas and cruised to the next light where the SUV pulled up along side of me. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed someone looking at me from the SUV; I look up and I see three kids faces plastered to their widows looking at the car. I got a kick out of that.
Yeah i was outside Panda Express picking up some dinner, about to get back in my car when i notice a Mom and her son, maybe 6 or 8 years old, a car over. The kid said "Woa! Mom, whats that!!??" and the mom replied "Thats a Corvette sweetie!" and the kid followed with "Awesome...!!!!" and climbed into his car. Then pressed his face to the window to watch me back out... lol
I'm 22, i bought my first Corvette about a month ago, and everytime i see one i'm still sayin "Awwwesome!!"
I know what you mean. I have four little boys who live nearby, and whenever they hear me start up the Z, they all run out to the road to watch. I usually rev it for them, and they laugh and clap. It's a hoot. They're allready showing signs of Corvette fever to come.
