Default bad experience

so i was out cruising for a few hours when it was about time to pack it up. when i was taking the girl home we stopped by a friends. coming out to the intersection some guy behind me came up really fast. so fast as for me to think fast and go, i went a little too fast and stalled it, jumped forward little. (yea better than staying there and probably getting knocked) anyways, to the bad part. i tried starting it and everything shut off. all the lights shut off (mind it getting dark and the lights were up) and i wasnt near the greatest neighborhood. so i get out call a friend to come jump it. meanwhile i turn the pos/neg cables on the battery, luckily i get a spark and the lights turn on, so i try to start it and the battery dies yet again, this happened a few times. then about the tenth time when i was bout to give up and call for tow, i guess murphies law bailed out and the car started. everything seemed to be fine after that but boy i hate to see my baby stuck with a dead battery at night.

on the flip side, have any of you fellas had a problem for when you open/close the windows the exterior lights dim?

Yeah, those bloody side terminals and battery acid may be the culprit once again.
