OT: C5 Crash
Hard to believe that all 17 aboard survived - this is not typical in a large AC crash.

IB4TL. we drive past dover afb going to the delaware shore & love to see those mammoth c5s doing touch & go's. when they fly over your car you damn well know it------the noise of those jet engines is louder than anything around. thank the lord no one lost their lives when the plane came down. bub

They have been flying for a lot years. They were a common sight at Tan Son Nhut AFB outside of Saigon. (Early 70's)
One of the many aging airplanes the USAF keeps going (B-52, KC-135, C130, etc..).
