MAP, IAT and ECT Errors
Gentleman, I coud use your help. I also have a C5, so hopefully you will talk to me, but this is a CTS-V problem. The CTS-V has a LS6 motor, and I have a Magnuson supercharger installed.
The engine has power but a poor throttle response. When the throttle is opened there is a simultaneous glich in the IAT and ECT, to minus 40 deg, and the spark is set back to -60 deg. This occurs for about 0.3 seconds then goes back to normal. I can feel the hesitation in the engine. The MAP sensor was replaced so I don't think that is the problem.
Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks. Joe
